How to Care For Your Natural Soaps

GreenSistah™ Botanicals' handmade soaps embody some of the best ingredients "Mother Nature" offers. You are showing much love to your skin and have done something extraordinary for the Planet and your environment. Yeah, it's one less plastic shower gel bottle polluting our environment. Caring for your soap is easy; however, because your natural soap contains no harsh chemicals or preservatives, it does need special care.

The most important thing you can do to get the best out of your natural soap is to keep it dry when it's not in use. Constant contact with a wet surface will soften your soap, make it soggy, and shorten its life. When not used, place your soap on a surface with holes where air can get to all sides. Air is your soap's best friend.

If you got multiple bars of soap because you don't want to run out, we get it. Remember to store your treasures in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. The color comes from plant powders, so direct sunlight can make it fade. The scent of plant-based essential oils may also fade over time but will come back to life as soon as the water hits it.
