Willette Monk (aka, GreenSistah™) is a passionate environmentalist, with a strong passion for helping people make healthy lifestyle choices. For more than 20 years, Willette has been a strong advocate for healthy and safe cosmetics. She has donated time, money and energy to research and education on eliminating toxic ingredients from body care products.
Willette is a Master Cosmetic Formulator and Holistic Hair and Skin Consultant. She earned a BSBA from Christopher Newport University and went on to obtain a Esthetician License and numerous other certifications in the field of Esthetics and Holistics personal care including, Aromatherapy, In 1999, Willette founded Pretty Natural, a line of natural and organic hair care products. Pretty Natural products are sold in natural product stores across the U.S. including Whole Food Markets.
Willette has written several published newsletter / magazine articles. She founded and moderates the Healthy Hair Support Group, a support group that gives inspiration, encouragement and professional counseling to women who are suffering from hair loss. Additionally, Willette does weekly teleseminars focused on improving women’s health, blogs about going green and publishes a weekly e-newsletter.
Willette is very grateful for the gifts and opportunities that she has been given. She has pledged honor and respect to her Divine calling to do the work she has been given to do. She is open to her continued growth and development as a healer and servent to a Power greater than herself. The best is yet to come!
